Using proprietary acoustic communication technology, the dedicated smartphone app synchronizes with the film projected on the cinema screen, enabling visually and hearing-impaired audiences to enjoy movies at theaters across Japan.
No additional equipment investment is required for theaters, and the app is simple for users to operate. More than 30 film distributors have introduced the service.
The service has also encouraged repeat viewings among general audiences, who enjoy optional audio commentaries designed to enhance the value of rewatching films.

   Through audio-visual synchronization technology, the app provides audio descriptions via smartphone for visually impaired users and subtitles displayed through AR glasses for hearing-impaired users—available in all cinemas nationwide.

   Since 2023, HELLO! MOVIE has focused on expanding adoption in overseas theaters.
   Because the system requires no additional theater investment, multiple Hollywood studios have adopted it for releases in Japan. Full-scale deployment in the U.S. is planned from 2025.
   The company’s barrier-free screening technology has the potential to become an international de facto standard.
